Connect both the left and right audio-out terminals on the VCR to the line-in or microphone terminal on the sound card of your PC.
Run Smart Sound Recorder.
Invoke Smart Sound Recorder settings dialog (by double
click on the tray icon, by selecting Settings menu item from the tray menu
or by using Hotkeys).
Select your sound card in the Device settings section
Select Line-in or Microphone in the Input Pin dropdown list (depending on to which port connected audio-out terminals).
Click Record button and start the playback of the VCR.
If you did everything correctly you will see that Level indicators are moving
up and down, that means that audio from VCR is properly recorded.
