Recording from media player

Follow the steps below in order to save any music or sound from media player to your PC using Smart Sound Recorder:

1. Run Smart Sound Recorder.

2. Invoke Smart Sound Recorder settings dialog (by double click on the tray icon, by selecting Settings menu item from the tray menu or by using Hotkeys).
   

3. Select your sound card in the Device settings section
   

4. Select Stereo Mix in the Input Pin dropdown list.

5. Click Record button and start the playback of the audio file you want to record in any media player. If you did everything correctly you will see that Level indicators are moving up and down, that means that audio file is properly recorded.
